Job Duties:

Financial - budget management of all items involved in the running of the company fleet including staffing costs, fuel & maintenance costs, etc.
Fleet allocation - allocate cars to users across the business on a timely and appropriate basis, working in line with company policy; ensuring all inspections, servicing and repairs are carried out to the highest standards and that regular inspections, both in the workshop and on the road are carried out as required.
Legal compliance - deal with all aspects of the company's obligations in both jurisdictions in which we operate (Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland) including vehicle annual tests, record keeping and fleet inspections.
Health & Safety - ensure that you adhere to the Health and Safety at Work Act and that any other employees entering the workshop conform to that legislation.

Qualifications / Experience:

Essential Criteria for the role:
2 years experience working in fleet management.
Demonstrable experience of managing a team.
Commercially aware.
Strong people management skills.
Strong organisation, planning and time management skills.
Strong numeracy, literacy, analytical and IT skills (particularly Word and Excel).
Capable of handling multiple tasks, prioritizing and being responsive to change.
Ability to interact professionally and be personal with candidates, colleagues and third parties.
Keep up to date with legislation and regulatory requirements for the role.
Drive and ambition to succeed.
Self-motivated approach and the ability to work without supervision.
Reliable, flexible and adaptable.
Full, current driving licence (to include the ability to tow a trailer) and access to a car.
Capable and willing to carry out roadside fleet check and deal with minor issues, e.g. changing tyres, checking and topping up oil.
