Job Duties:

Liaise with Disability Action teams to identify/agree resource needs/priorities for business needs. Plan/research a range of resources internal/external to Disability Action. Assist in the co-design/development/drawing together of ideas from focus groups: both staff and service users/participants. Develop and collate online resource tools in a range of formats for Disability Action participants. Test products for errors and make agreed amendments. Monitor/evaluate materials to ensure content remains current and relevant, and keep up to date with technological and software developments. Research and identify online innovations to support delivery of resources. Attend regular review meetings to ensure communication across projects about delivery of online resources. Assist in the rollout of staff awareness training across all projects and to participate in staff training and development as required. Any other duties relating to the post as identified by the line manager.

Qualifications / Experience:

Essential Criteria: IT skills that include a good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 word processing, PowerPoint and spreadsheet packages to enable report writing and presentation of information. An interest in Multimedia/ experience of Multimedia systems/web based content and for design, layout and detail. Creativity, problem-solving and communication skills, in addition to the need for accuracy and attention to detail. Teamwork skills as the post holder will work with individuals in different roles and teams. Evidence of working on own initiative and with others to deliver an agreed objective or goal. Understanding of the issues and barriers relating to people with disabilities. Be self-motivated with an ability to manage work time effectively. Young person aged 16-24 with a disability.
Desirable Criteria: The ability to meet the travel requirements of the post.
