Job Duties:

The role will include:
Drafting & updating event documents (proposals, budgets, databases etc), researching current event trends, entertainment & venues, assisting in the creation of exciting event concepts as well as gaining on-site experience at a variety of events in different locations.

You will gain experience in planning and organising own workload to meet deadlines, taking on responsibility and will be expected to contribute imaginatively & effectively to team objectives and longer-term goals.

Full guidance and support will be given by a dedicated Event Manager in this fun & creative working environment. The office is dynamic and ever-changing with each project differing to the next. This role will give the assistant an opportunity to work with some of Northern Ireland's most prestigious brands, clients & businesses.
You will be entitled to annual leave during this Job Opportunity.

Qualifications / Experience:

The applicant must have good written and verbal communication skills with a minimum of 2 subjects at A level or equivalent.

Proficient skills in Microsoft Office programmes (word documents, Excel, PowerPoint) are essential.

The applicant should be enthusiastic and hardworking and be able to demonstrate at interview that they have a genuine interest in the Events sector. Previous experience in this field is not essential but if you have an outgoing personality and are quick to learn, you will thoroughly enjoy this learning opportunity to be part of this fun-loving, creative and hardworking team.
