Job Duties:

Working as part of the Analytical team based in our global headquarters in Craigavon, you will be responsible for performing GMP and non-GMP activities related to specialist LC-MS and GC-MS analysis. Carrying out phase appropriate validation and sample analysis in support of development, manufacture and release for both internal and external customers.

Qualifications / Experience:

Essential Criteria:
5 GCSE (or equivalent) grades A-C including Mathematics and English Language
.
Degree level qualification in an Analytical/Chemistry related discipline or equivalent experience.
Theoretical knowledge of multiple laboratory techniques.
Demonstrated hands on experience in one or more of the following:
MS techniques in an industrial or academic environment; LC-MSn, GC-MSn.
Experience of structure elucidation and quantitative analysis using MS.

Desirable Criteria:
(The following criteria may be applied if a large pool of applicants exist)
PhD level qualification (or equivalent) in Mass Spectrometry.
Previous relevant industrial experience in a GMP/GLP environment.
Experience of MS analysis of small organic molecules.
Experience of MS analysis of peptides and proteins as well as small molecules.
Experience of method Validation.
